University of Colorado-Denver Awards

I was humbled to be awarded President’s Diversity Award in 2020 for my scholarly works and teaching, an award presented among all four campuses. Read the announcement here.

In 2022, I had the honor of receiving College of Art’s and Media’s Equity award to complete a project called Mis-taken, in collaboration with current interim Dean, Nate Thompson. This was FITV’s first film that cast a transgender actor and was written by a trans male student in my scriptwriting class. Read about the story here.
